Off-Grid Community

About

Juniperwood Ranch is an off-grid rural subdivision in Yavapai County, Arizona, on high juniper-and-pinyon terrain about 15 minutes south of Ash Fork and 30 minutes from Williams, near 5,000 feet elevation. Lots fall under a 10-acre-minimum zoning with no public utilities, so parcels rely on solar and/or wind power and require a drilled well. There is no property owners association; residents have built straw-bale, earthship, and cordwood off-grid homes.
