Landers is an unincorporated high-desert community in the Homestead Valley group of San Bernardino County, California, on five-acre lots subdivided after WWII under the federal Small Tract Act of 1938. It sits at about 3,080 feet near the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains and is home to Giant Rock and the Integratron. Residents rely on hauled or well water, solar or generator power, and septic, with many stretches of unpaved road.
