Cedar Highlands is a mountain cabin subdivision east of Cedar City in Iron County, Utah, settled in 1981 and sitting at about 7,815 feet elevation across roughly 9 square miles of forested land. It was briefly incorporated as a town in 2018 before disincorporating in 2020 over road-maintenance disputes; the 2020 census recorded 99 residents. Many parcels are off-grid wooded acreages where owners rely on solar, septic, and water-collection or well systems.
