Wild Horse Ranch is a platted off-grid subdivision north of Pie Town in Catron County, New Mexico, carved out of the historic York Ranch and surrounded by BLM land. It is governed by the Wild Horse Ranch Landowners' Association, a New Mexico nonprofit with recorded CC&Rs that maintains 52 subdivision roads and community water wells. Lots are off-grid (solar plus hauled or well water), with some lots having electricity at the property line; the subdivision is built out in numbered phases.
