Rural Subdivision

About

Palm Beach Heights, also known as Pal-Mar, is a roughly 8,500-acre undeveloped subdivision in southwestern Martin County, Florida, platted beginning in 1968 by a developer that later went bankrupt. Nothing was ever built: there are no official interior roads and no utilities, only a few 1970s canals and a perimeter fence. Lots range from high-and-dry parcels to wetland tracts, and owners use the land for camping, hunting, and off-road riding. It is bounded by SR 706, SR 710, SR 76, and Pratt Whitney Road, adjacent to the Jones/Hungryland Wildlife Management Area.
