Wilder Mountain is a roughly 3,500-acre recreational and residential land development on the Cumberland Plateau near Wilder in Fentress County, Tennessee, about an hour from Crossville, Cookeville, and Jamestown. Parcels are commonly 5 to 100-plus acres of wooded plateau land with creeks and rock outcrops, sold for off-grid living, hunting, and cabins. There is no HOA, but a $200 annual road fee funds maintenance of the private gravel roads, and minimal deed restrictions apply.
